Biography

My Excuse is an alternative modern rock band from Europe. They were formed by their American frontman Steven Triantafillis and in 2003 they released their first album with Universal Music.

In 2010 they released the single “Is it Over Now”, produced by Ron St Germain who has participated in several Grammy awarded projects. The single saw huge success and established them as one of the best up and coming bands in Europe.

In July 2012 My Excuse arrived in New York for their first US tour where they completed a series of live performances in New York, New Jersey and Detroit, Michigan. They spent a few weeks in studio with Ron St Germain recording their new album. On July 11, 2012, they released their first international single “Silent Revolution.” That track is part of their album, All I’ve Become, produced by Ron St Germain.

Having successfully funded their Kickstarter project in February 2013, My Excuse returned to North America to show appreciation for the support of their fans.

They played more than 30 live performances in some of the largest cities such as New York, Miami, Charlotte, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta and Toronto. My Excuse also performed at Millennium Music Conference and Canadian Music Week.

In May 2013 My Excuse announces the release of their second album “All I’ve Become”. The recording of their new album was completed during their US tour in the summer of 2012 and produced by Ron St Germain. The album title represents all the years spent and the efforts made to get to where they are. “All I’ve Become” is released internationally though iTunes by Terret Entertainment.

In 2014, the band stayed in Greece for some months and performed in several cities, such as Athens, Salonica, Crete, Larissa, in front of an enthusiastic greek audience.

In November 2014, My Excuse released their new music video, directed by JP Micaleff, for “Smoke a Cigarette”, the single of their Album “All I’ve Become”.
